形態知覚・補完知覚・顔認知の初期発達など
生後3−8ヶ月の赤ちゃんを対象として乳児期の形態知覚、特に直接見えない部分を補って全体的な形を認識する「補完知覚」の能力と、多くの人物の顔を区別・認識する「顔認知」の能力の発達を検討しています。
物や顔の映像に対する赤ちゃんの注視時間を計測したり、近赤外分光法装置(NIRS)を使って赤ちゃんが映像を見ている際の脳の活動を計測したりすることで，乳児期の形態知覚の発達について検討しています。
